This steak salad recipe was adapted from Chace kitchen amazing steak salad series. We added our twist by incorporating the crunch of our Original Almonds. This salad is not only protein-packed but also flavorful and fueling, making it the perfect choice for a hearty lunch or dinner meal! 

Ingredients for this delicious salad

  • 2 cups chopped romaine
  • Sliced steak
  • Handful of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup corn (seasoned with olive oil, cayenne pepper, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder)
  • 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • Crumbled queso fresco cheese
  • Ranch
  • Original Daily Crunch 

Directions

  1. Cook your steak to your liking and let it rest while you prepare the salad. 
  2. For the corn, I used frozen corn so I heated it  up in a pan. Then season with olive oil, cayenne pepper, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cook until the corn starts to brown slightly, then let it cool.
  3. While the steak and corn are cooking, prepare the salad base. Chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large salad bowl. Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the avocado.
  4. Once the steak and corn are ready, begin assembling the salad. Add the chopped romaine, cherry tomatoes, and avocado to the bowl. Top with the seasoned corn and sliced steak.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled queso fresco cheese over the top, and finish with a generous handful of Original Daily Crunch for extra crunch and flavor. 
  6. Drizzle ranch dressing over the salad just before serving, and toss gently to combine all the ingredients.
